Tuesday, August 25th at Remington Park "Tuesday Night Fights"  George "Comanche Boy" Tahdooahnippah achieved his 20th victory with a first round KO of  Chris "Sugar" Ray (8-4), but the fight, although being a milestone for the Native American champ, was disappointing.  "I train hard to fight.  I come to perform.  This is professional boxing.  If you don't want to give it your all, then don't be involved in this sport."  Tahdoooahnippah said.  "I'm not knocking any man stepping into the ring to put it on the line, but if I ever went down, I would know that I gave it my all.   I am now 20-0!  I am feeling fresh and I'm ready for the next one."

Comanche Boy Fight Stopped

A great night of boxing brought to the public by the Comanche Nation Casino, catBOX Entertainment and C3 Fights, took place last Friday night, May 15, 2009 in Lawton, Oklahoma, in the famous EvenTTent, the eighth wonder of the entertainment world.  catBOX has been taking the boxing public by storm, presenting unparalleled exciting fights for fight fans since 2006.  In March, 2009 at First Council Casino, and again last week at the beautiful Comanche Nation Casino, catBOX and C3 fights joined together to continue catBOX’s tradition of bringing world class boxing to fight fans nation wide.

In the Main Event, George “Comanche Boy” Tahdooahnippah, showed again why he is feared as a fighter with exceptional skills and toughness.  Comanche Boy had his opponent Dan Wallace of Detroit, Michigan reeling and hurt when, by the intervention of mother nature, Wallace was saved from a certain knockout by one of Oklahoma’s notorious wind storms, forcing stoppage of Comanche Boy’s assault after the first round.

Comanche Boy Scores 6th Round KO!

"Comanche Boy" George Tahdooahnippah improves to 18-0 with a sixth round stoppage of  Jerry Perez Friday, March 13 at the First Council Casino in Newkirk, OK.

"He was durable," Tahdooahnippah said after the fight,  "but I knew I had to take care of business.  I train hard and  I hit hard.  The first round I had to let him know that I have the power and that I would dictate the pace of the fight.  I dropped him at the end of the round and knew I could hurt him.  To my surprise, he came on strong rounds 2-4 --  he was giving it his all.  I had much respect for his fight and his will, but when the 5th and 6th round came, I turned it on.  I came out strong the 6th and let it all hang out.  I dropped him and he didn't get up, so now  Comanche Boy is 18-0!" Tahdooahnippah was also appreciative of the fan support.  " It was a great turn out at the event and I was pleased to see all the  Native American people in attendance.  All the tribes of north Oklahoma made me feel welcome and it was great  to be there."

Comanche Boy Now 17-0!

NABC Super middleweight champion, George "Comanche Boy" Tahdooahnippah is now 17-0 (16KO) after swiftly defeating Tyrone Dowdy on Friday, Feb.13 at Remington Park Casino in Oklahoma City.

" I didn’t know anything about Dowdy and that made him a dangerous opponent.  All I know is that he came to beat me.  He came to take me out.  I won’t let that happen.  My team and my training camp are very well prepared for anybody that comes my way.  I can’t help that Dowdy went down like he did.  He came out looking physically strong and came out swinging, but my left hook made him a new home on the canvas.  I can’t make him take my punches.  All I know is I've  got to win.  Whether it’s first round knock out or a split decision, I have to be victorious.  I am moving on to a bigger stage and am ready for the worldwide competition.”  Of his 1:31 performance against Dowdy, Tahdoaahnippah said.  I am ready to keep fighting and am looking forward to fighting again in March."

Comanche Boy Now 16-0!

Lawton middleweight and NABC champ George "Comanche Boy" Tahdooahnippah extended his record to 16-0 Friday night at The Osage Million Dollar Elm Casino in Tulsa, OK.

Tahdooahnippah stopped Brandon Wooten by knock out 49 seconds into the sixth round, in front of a capacity crowd on "ShoBox: The New Generation" undercard.

"He talked some trash to me at the weigh in so I had to punish him before I knocked him out," Tahdoaahnippah said. "I felt good during the fight and am looking forward to my next bout in February at Remington Park."

ShoBox commentator and veteran boxing writer Steve Farhood commented on "Comanche Boy's" performance: "George is a consistently exciting fighter who in each and every round of each and every fight tries to give the fans what they always want- a punch-out and a knockout. Regardless of who fights on the card before him or after him, he is guaranteed to entertain."

Comanche Boy comments on dominating Wooten:

I knew Brandon Wooten was coming to fight and he had plenty of time to prepare.  He had been calling me out for sometime and then the fight was made.  I had no disrespect for the man, but it is my time.  There is no way I was going to let him be in the fight.  A lot of people don't know about my boxing skills and think I am a brawler-puncher.  Actually, I am a very slick boxer with power in both hands.  I wanted to show Wooten that I am the real deal.  This fight got personal. He was messing with me at the weigh in and I was in no mood for his smart gestures.  We had words but we both knew it would be proven Friday night.  I told him I was going to knock him out, that I hit hard and was glad he had time to train, because I was going to punish him.  I am a first class man, but when the man started in on me at the weigh in, it fired me up! My intent was to punish him totally.

About the fight:  I knew coming into this fight I was going to be patient and take my time.  I am not dying for a KO.  I also know Wooten had a decent chin and has been the distance with some decent fighters.  My stable mate Grady Brewer fought him and KO'd him in 3 rounds, but I think he knew he couldn't beat Grady, so when it was time to go, he went.  Wooten thought he could beat me and I knew that.  What he didn't know was I have power in both hands.  I dropped him in the first round with a left hook but didn't rush to finish him.  I needed the rounds and knew my conditioning was far more superb than his, so I could take my time.  I felt like I dropped him numerous times, but to his credit, he was willing to fight and got up.  During the 4th round, I noticed his face was falling apart from my jab, so I kept the hard jab going.  I was fresh the 5th round and I knew it was a matter of time before he was going down.  The 6th round I gave it my all and I dropped him early.  He got up and I dropped him again.  He was done in the 5th, but I ended him the 6th.  No disrespect to the man, but now he knows who "The Comanche Boy" is!
